Know which months matter where you are.
A monthly seasonal activity profile for your approximate region, so a walk in peak month gets a more careful check than one in the quiet season.

Monthly profile
Twelve months at a glance, with the current month marked, banded from lower activity through to peak.
Approximate region only
Uses a coarse region, never precise coordinates, and falls back to a general profile if you decline location access.
Pairs with the sightings map
Seasonal timing and reported occurrences sit on the same screen.
What it does not do. Seasonal context is general background, not a forecast and not a risk score for your specific location. The regional dataset is limited and does not cover every region in equal detail.
Common questions
- When is tick season?
- It varies by region and species. Nymphs, the stage responsible for most bites on people, are typically most active in late spring and summer, but adults stay active into autumn and can be active on mild winter days. Check the in-app profile for your own region.
- Does it need my exact location?
- No. It uses a coarse region such as a state or territory. Exact coordinates are never sent or stored, and location access is optional.
